APRIL Calendar

April showers bring May flowers!

The weather this week may not have felt like it,

but Spring has sprung, 

and we are excited about it here at Cornerstone Preschool!

This month we have been exploring our 5 senses, 

learning about opposites, 

and getting ready to head to the farm.

TUES/THURS classes 

will combine for a their Farm Field Trip on 

TUESDAY APRIL 30TH

leaving school @ 10:15am 

returning @ 1pm

MWF classes 

have had a DATE CHANGE for their Farm Field Trip.

The new field trip date for the combined MWF classes will be 

WEDNESDAY MAY 1ST.

leaving school @ 10:15am

returning @ 1pm

The school has covered the cost for your student, 

but if you prepaid for yourself or any additional children the cost was $2. 

If you would like to still come, we'd LOVE to have you! 

Wheeler Farm would like parents that are planning to pay at the door 

to please bring $3 per person the day of the field trip. 

We will be having a picnic at the farm,

so don't forget to pack your child a lunch.

March News

We're not short, we're Leprechaun sized!

 Spring is near,

which means Spring Break is just around the corner.

Please note that the T/TH Classes will be on Spring Break with NO CLASS

the 26th-28th

and the 

MWF Classes will be on Spring Break with NO CLASS

the 25th-29th.

Your little leprechauns will be busy this month
learning about Dinosaurs, St. Patrick's Day, and Spring.

We know we are lucky to have your children with us at Cornerstone Preschool 

AND to have such great parents behind them.

Thank you for all that you do.

Open enrollment begins this month for all new students.

If you haven't secured a spot for you child 

for the upcoming school year in Fall 2013, we'd love to have you!

IT'S FEBRUARY and we LOVE school!!!

Our Valentine's Parties are this week!

The MWF Classes will have their party this WEDNESDAY FEB. 13th. 

{bring 13 treats to share with friends}

The T/TH Classes will have their party this THURSDAY FEB. 14th.

{bring 10 treats to share with friends}

We are so excited to share Valentine's with each other.

SANTA!!! I KNOW HIM!!!

 SANTA came to our preschool today!!!

We sang songs with him,

shook his jingle bells,

and sat on his lap to tell him what we wanted for Christmas.

Then we read Christmas books, made cookies, and watched a Christmas movie.

It is was so much fun to celebrate together.

Thank you for all of your contributions to the Christmas Stockings for preschoolers in need,

and for helping us teach your children about giving.

The first half of this year has been fantastic. Thank you Parents for all you do.

This month we have been talking about Christmas and Giving.

We will be preparing Christmas stockings for preschool aged foster children.

Items we need:

socks

small board books

undershirts

underwear

hair ties

small toys

match box cars

hats

gloves

any other small stocking sized gifts

***All contributions need to be turned in by DECEMBER 14TH***

What a great time we had learning 

about and visiting the fire house in September.

We'd like to express our thanks 

to the Corner Canyon Fire Department for showing us around, 

and helping us learn all about what firefighters do. 

We love the firehouse!
