1st week of school

Dear Parents,

 

We have had a great 1st week of school. We painted, played games and made lots of new friends. We are having a fun time singing new songs, nursery rhymes and memorizing our September poem about apples.  This week we have been learning about the letter "A" and apples. We are learning how apples grow, the color varieties and what we can make from apples.  Through out the month of September we will be learning about the rectangle shape, the color yellow and the number 1.

Thank you for sharing your children with us. We have enjoyed getting to know each and everyone of them.

 This month we will be taking a field trip to Draper City Fire Station, on Monday September 26 at 10:00am. We need parent volunteers. If you are able to help out please contact Kim.(email Cornerstonekim@gmail.com or 801-571-9895. We will still have school this day. Please meet here at9:00am and we will leave at 9:45am to head to the fire station. This field trip will be about a 30 - 45 min. We will return back to school for our class time.
