Spanish In Bloom with Senorita Jessica

Hola Amigos!

The 4 year old classes have been having fun learning another language, with Senorita Jessica!  To the right, you will see there is an MP3 Player with some of the songs she is teaching the children. There is also an English version of the hello and goodbye song, so you can help and familiarize  your children, to know what the words mean in the spanish songs, if you would like to do that at home. Here is a little note from Jessica:

"Please do note that the song titled "Campanaria" is a sampling of the beautiful and peaceful music found in Andean countries such as Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, northeastern Chile and northwestern Argentina.

Please also note that the song titled "cabeza, hombro, rodillas y pies" is a Latino version of "Head, shoulder, knees and toes) with a "Merengue" rhythm which is a traditional dance/music from the Dominican Republic but it is danced by most Latinos at celebration parties. The only difference from the English version is that the Spanish song mentions feet (pies) as opposed to toes (dedos ;)

Any questions, please feel free to e-mail me. Please have the parents e-mail me if they have questions too."

Thank you,

Jessica Ponce
