Illness and Medication

Please do not send children to school when they are ill. If you child has a fever, is vomiting, has diarrhea, or any contagious illness or condition don not send him/her to school. Please notify the school if your child will be absent.

Should your child become ill while at school, you will be notified ad your child will need to be picked up. If the parents cannot be reached, the contact person listed on the emergency form will be called.

Any child needing to have medication administered at the school must have a medication release form filled out, signed by the parent/legal guardian and medication needs to be in the original container or package. This form is available at the school. Please do not send medication to school in the child's bag.
All medications need to be given to the teacher. This way we know it is put away safely and out of the reach of children.

Emergency Medical Care
In the case of a medical emergency, we will contact the emergency medical personnel immediately and then contact the parents. Emergency first aid may also be administered.
